Eric's weekend work, the addition

Julie informed me that the house was too small , she wanted more closet room. I figured that a 30foot by 40foot / 900 square feet addition to our existing house should adequately give her enough closet space. ....A larger master bedroom with bath room and a large walk-in closet.. The other room , a den facing the road. The bedroom to face the back yard. The exsisting master bed room will soon become part of the living room.

So I rented a backhoe and dug into the side of the hill next to the house and laid the footers for a couple rows of blocks. This would give me enough crawlspace to put in plumbing for the master bath. We will actually have to walk up into the addition. But that aspect works out just fine. The addition will be two rooms .

Build the new rooms around the small den. Taking out old small den
New stairs going into new bedroom	Room on other side of Eric will be new Den

Inside now, taking out old wall. Other side was the bedroom Built a header to replace the wall ->
